Bathing can be a great bonding experience when Mommy and Baby are both prepared with must-have products. As a new mommy or daddy you will find there are a gazillion baby bath products on the market.  Some are great, some are not so great.  As you stroll through the grocery store (read: careen through the aisles, desperately trying to appease your howling baby), how do you know that beautifully packaged baby wash will calm your baby and help her sleep through the night for the first time ever, pleasepleaseplease?

Parenting is full of tough decisions and choosing the right baby wash is the tip of the iceberg. At Baby Magic, we know the best cure for parenting obstacles is sharing magical moments with your baby.  That’s why we have pulled together some of our “Must-Have” baby bath products for you – one less decision you have to make.

Must-Have Bathtime Basics:

Baby Bath Tub or Bath Seat – The baby bath makes things easy on your back and safe for your little one. Less stress equals more fun.

Baby Shampoo or Baby Wash – Baby Magic manufactures (in Dallas Texas!) baby wash that is formulated to preserve the natural moisture of your infant’s skin. Our Calming Baby Bath, made with pure lavender and chamomile extracts, is perfect for bedtime or naptime.

Patty Cake Dustless Baby Powder – Loose powder is a pediatric no-no. Baby Magic’s dustless powder is as effective as loose powder, but it will help keep your little one dry with just a thin, silky layer. Doctor’s love this product!

Nail Clippers – A great time to trim sharp little nails is just after a bath when baby is calm and the nails are softer.

Brushes – Soft-bristled brushes are a gentle way to exfoliate the scalp, stimulate hair growth and smooth her silky hair.

Washcloths – Two CLEAN washcloths per bath should be the standard for the first few months.  Nothing fancy, just soft.  One should be used to wipe each eye separately to prevent spreading eye infections.  Then, wash her from top to bottom, saving her shiny hiney for the very end.  “Germiest parts last” is the general idea.
