One of the best things about being a new mom is watching your baby experience new things. If you’ve just given birth, you probably can’t wait to take your child to your local park and show her the beauty of nature. This is a great idea, once your child’s immune system is strong enough to handle it. Once your little one is ready, you two can get out there and start discovering everything the outdoors has to offer. Just be sure that you don’t forget all of the things you’ll need to keep child comfortable while outside like extra baby blankets and baby powder or baby cream.

Make a Packing List

If you’re worried about forgetting something when packing for her first trip to the park, then you should take the time to make a good packing list. This can really help give you some peace of mind, and it will help make sure that your child stays happy and comfortable at the park. Remember to bring the following items:

· Diapers and baby powder. You may have to change your little one at the park, and you’ll want to have supplies to do it right. Bring some of Baby Magic’s Patty Cake Dustless Baby Powder with you to help keep her bottom fresh and clean.

· Snacks for you and the little one. If you’re going to be in the park for a while, you and your baby might get hungry. Bring some light snacks for you and also pack a bottle with formula for your hungry little trooper.

· Books and toys. Bring some books to read to your little one while you sit and enjoy the sunshine. It also helps to bring a few of her favorite toys to keep him or her occupied while you are walking around.

Outdoor Trips – Good for Both of You

Taking your little one to the park for the first time is a great way for you to get some exercise and work off any weight you gained during the pregnancy.  It’s also going to be really beneficial for your child as well. New babies thrive on experiencing new things, and you’re going to be giving your little one a bunch of new sensory experiences each time you go to the park. As long as you always remember to dress appropriately and bring baby supplies, such as baby powder, baby cream, and baby lotion, when you go outdoors, park visits can be a healthy way to allow your child to develop.
